Superbills

One click from paid sessions to the client's portal.

Out-of-network clients need a superbill to get reimbursed. Coral builds it from the sessions they've already paid for, with the codes and diagnoses from the chart.

  • Every paid session with its date, CPT code and fee
  • ICD-10 diagnoses carried over by date of service
  • Sent to the client portal for the client to download
  • No template to fill in at the end of the month
  • Included on every plan
Good Faith Estimates

Good Faith Estimates issued at booking.

The No Surprises Act gives self-pay clients the right to an estimate of what therapy will cost. Coral issues it when they book, so it's done before the first session.

  • For self-pay and uninsured clients
  • Issued when the client books
  • Kept in the chart with the client's other documents
Coming to Pro

Insurance claims, one step at a time.

Plenty of private-pay therapists still keep a panel or two, or file out-of-network claims for clients who ask. We're adding insurance so that work doesn't need a second system.

  • Eligibility checks before the first session
  • Out-of-network claims filed for your clients
  • In-network claims, planned for January 2027
  • $0.35 per eligibility check and $0.55 per claim once insurance launches
  • No insurance screens for therapists who never use them

Questions therapists ask

Does CoralEHR bill insurance?

Not yet. Today Coral makes superbills your out-of-network clients can send to their insurer. Eligibility checks and out-of-network claims filed for the client are being built for the Pro plan, and in-network claims are planned for January 2027.

What goes on a CoralEHR superbill?

Your practice's NPI and tax ID, the client, the place of service, each paid session with its date, CPT code and fee, and the ICD-10 diagnoses that applied on each date of service. You create it from paid sessions in one click and send it to the client portal.

Can clients download their own superbills?

Yes. Superbills you send appear in the client portal, where the client can download them.

Do I need to send Good Faith Estimates?

Under the No Surprises Act, self-pay and uninsured clients are entitled to a Good Faith Estimate of expected charges. Coral issues one for self-pay clients at booking.

What will insurance cost in CoralEHR?

Insurance will be part of the Pro plan, with $0.35 per eligibility check and $0.55 per claim once it launches. Superbills and Good Faith Estimates are included on every plan.

Is CoralEHR right for an insurance-heavy practice?

Not yet. If most of your clients use in-network benefits and you need to file claims today, an insurance-first EHR is the better fit for now. If you are private pay, out of network, or keep one or two panels, Coral works for you today and will cover claims as they launch.
