Join from Today with one click.
The session you're about to start sits at the top of Today with a Join button. Your client gets the link by email and in the portal, and waits until you let them in.
- Join appears on Today a few minutes before the session
- Reminder emails carry the join link 10 minutes before
- Clients join from a phone or a computer, with no app
Couple, family and group video on every plan.
Many EHRs charge more for group video or limit it to their top plan. In Coral, couple, family and group sessions are included from Starter.
- Up to 6 clients plus 4 guests, such as an interpreter
- Each person joins from their own device
- One shared note and one invoice for a couple or family
EMDR and sand tray open from the session dock.
Bilateral stimulation, the sand tray and the play tools run inside the call, so there's no second tab to share. What happened in them can go into your progress note. See session tools.
- EMDR bilateral stimulation
- A 3D sand tray with over 350 miniatures
- Worry Muncher, Feelings Volcano, Window of Tolerance, breathing and grounding
- Screen share from a computer
Built for clients who join from a phone.
Most clients join from a phone. The client side of Coral was built for small screens first, and tools that work better sideways open in landscape.
- Join from the portal or the email link
- A device check before joining
- Each person chooses how their camera is shown

Questions therapists ask
Is CoralEHR telehealth HIPAA compliant?
Yes. Video runs inside Coral, covered by the Business Associate Agreement every practice signs with us. Sessions are not recorded, unless the client gives written consent to a recording for supervision.
Do clients need to download an app?
No. Clients join from a link in their reminder email or from the client portal, in the browser on a phone or a computer. They wait in the waiting room until you let them in.
How many people can join a session?
Up to 6 clients plus up to 4 guests, such as an interpreter or a parent, on every plan. That covers individual, couple, family and small group sessions.
Can I start a session that is not on the calendar?
Yes. Start an instant session, or share your own room link. People who use your room link wait in your own lobby, and you choose which session to bring them into.
Can I share my screen?
Yes, from a computer. Clinicians can share a screen, a window or a tab, with its audio.
What about consent and the client's location?
Coral collects telehealth consent before the first video session and asks where the client is at each session, so you have it on record.
Can I use EMDR or sand tray during a video session?
Yes. Bilateral stimulation, a 3D sand tray and play and regulation tools open from the session dock, on every plan.
